You know your interviewee has really, really, made an impact when this happens.
The moment I got my hands on a copy of the April issue, where my interview with Datin Seri Zabidahtul was featured, I attempted to replicate her recipe. The moderately successful (ahem) results, ladies and gentlemen:
So simple yet OH SO GOOD!!!
Ok, I cheated actually. Since I didn’t have the proper tools to steam, I roasted the pumpkin for 40 minutes and then poured a generous amount of ready-made kaya on top. The combination of flavours and textures was amazing. Eat your heart out, cheesecake! 🙂
